I was feeling a little more girly than usual today, so I felt it necessary to push it all the way. This high waisted chiffon skirt from American Apparel is one of my favorite skirts that I own. It’s so comfy, and so easy to pair with practically anything. And besides both those reasons it’s just so bouncy and fun to wear and twirl around in all day long! I paired it with a tight lace top from free people that I put a black lace bra underneath to add that little bit of sexiness to counter the young girliness of the skirt. On it’s own, this top is a little too dark and the lace too overwhelming, but by adding the simple, light colored high waisted skirt the lace doesn’t look too heavy and dark on top. The black, very tall, and slimming heels balance out the heavy black on top and add balance to the whole look. I added a wonderful belt to break up a little bit of the skirt and define my waist. Then finally topped the look off with a gold watch necklace just to tie in that little gold buckle on the belt.
