Caught Daydreaming

What I'm Wearing:
Vest
See Through Me
Denim
Boots

Yesterday morning I was at the beach with my coffee walking barefoot while my dog runs up and down the sand..pretty poetic right? That is until I step on a bee and then this bee stings the bottom of my foot, and decides to hold on while I desperately try to pull it out, only to then die right in front of me. Reading through those events it might not seem like a big deal, but I did leave out some of the less graceful details like the initial shock, then panic, and then the pain and yelling which occurred. Only to calm down and find that very bee dead in my footstep. This all may seem trivial, but it made me think about how I really don't know what's going to come in the future...One moment I'm walking barefoot on the beach, feeling oh so at one with nature; then the next I'm rolling in the
sand, both hands holding a throbbing foot, as my dog tries to frantically solve whatever the problem could be arising, by attacking my face with her licking. And yes, it went exactly how you're picturing it. You just don't know what's going to happen next in life, so you might as well roll with the punches and laugh along the way.

I really love this military vest, and found that pairing it with a whole look was so easy and fast. I automatically paired the vest with a floral infinity scarf, to add a little feminine touch to it. I then went with a basic brown cardigan that wouldn't be too busy for the scarf and vest. I put on a pair of burgundy denim pants since I knew the color would really compliment the olive of the vest and tie in the floral scarf. Lastly finishing off the look with a pair of studded Vince Camuto boots that I got for Christmas :) I figured a bun for the hair would be a good choice so it didn't get in the way of the scarf.
