So it's Friday and I'm seeing all of these Coachella photos... I can't help but wish I was there since it's happening so close to me. But instead of hearing all the best kinds of sounds all weekend I'm home working on a bunch of well... work. There's always going to be that time when there's so many fun things going on-so many things to do, but you don't have any option other than to sit your butt down and get to work.. So that's where I'm at this very moment. Jackalope Arts Fair is in two weeks from tomorrow; I will be bringing my entire line of handmade jewelry (since I've been making so much more jewelry than anticipated, I will still be leaving a few pieces up on my store) so I'm really, really excited. This is my first official time vending at a fair so I would love for you to come down and say hello!
I shot this look at the Santa Barbara Courthouse which is, in my opinion, one of the most beautiful places in Santa Barbara. When I was going to school for photography this is always where me and my friends would come for assignments and photo shoots simply because the light is too good! There's so many archways and big open windows and beautiful architecture... It's every photographers dream come true- so when I realized I had yet to shoot a look there I couldn't believe it! I put on one of my favorite rompers, paired with a denim jacket since it's still chilly in the shade here! I then went with my favorite converse and a Free People Daisy Leather headband to give the look a really summer, laidback, California feel.
