Last Days of Summer

What I'm Wearing
Denim Jacket // Lark & Wolf bought at Urban Outfitters
Necklace // Etsy
Crop Top // Pacsun (Tops)
Heels // Betsy Johnson

We walked holding the hands of giants
knowing all too well the weight of their steps
And the places with which they could take us
It wasn't difficult to see you through the haze
From the way your light caught my eye
We've been through it all, but you've still got that smile
The one that breathes out the eases of home
Leaving me naked and bare, full of air with no ground
I'm wrapped up in this story we've decided to write
Mixing up the beginning without pinpointing the end
So take my hand and let's just leave
As we step in place with the giants

I had a rather long weekend of working, and lately that seems to be my most productive days...Not sure how that keeps happening. This weekend though, and continuing on, is New York Fashion Week and I was so thrilled to get to watch all of the Instagram videos of the runways since I couldn't be there myself. I spent a good portion of last night trying to see a full length video of Ralph Laurens 4D projected water show in Central Park...(WHAT??) and it was absolutely beautiful! Getting to see New York fashion week is such an inspiring time, even when I'm watching from the complete opposite end of the country! All of the 60's style on the runways made me want to pull out my own bell skirt and do a fun end-of-summer post. I started with this bell corduroy skirt from American Apparel and paired it with this super comfy cotton Pacsun Crop top. By the way, every time I go into a pac sun lately I fall in love with so many items, which is a new thing for me...I just love they're sunny California boho style now! I then added one of my own Amethyst necklaces from my own line and some fun Besty Johnson heels.
