Summer is officially here. This month has been pretty jam packed full of traveling, reworking, and a good amount of sturdy work, but unfortunately I wasn't able to do so many outfit posts; something that will be changing very soon. I've filled up my recently added playlist on my iTunes with bundles of new music so I've got all I need for some productive work times ahead. I've been working on my jewelry side of business like a maniac! I've been so inspired lately to get my oh so young jewelry store off the ground and taking it's first steps. I've been beading, wiring, organizing, planning, jeweling like crazy and I love love love it. I'm currently stocking up for a big event that I'll be selling at, but I'll be adding some of it to my store for a quick preview before it all goes to happy homes! Otherwise I've been mostly trying to fall back into pace with a life that feels familiar to me. These past couple months have been an absolute whirlwind and I have to say I couldn't be more excited for some quiet, steady work only broken up by the occasional trip to that big beautiful ocean of mine (yes, I'm claiming it, but you can have it too!)
I was feeling withdrawals from not posting, so I did an easy outfit post in my own house. My little pup, Mika, had to show her face a little since it's her house too. This look is one that I love so much since it has such an indie/boho vibe. I first paired together a light crop top with some fun summer dolphin cut shorts. Then layered a tribal knit over and let one shoulder slouch for a laid back look. I then used a belt that is divinely handmade, and wrapped it like a head wrap to tie in the colors of the knit. Lastly finishing the look off with a bunch of accessories to really push the bohemian feel; I went with some brown ankle booties and a matching belt to tie in the browns, then adding some of my new jewelry from my new tribal line that will be released in weeks to come online. I'm wearing a couple necklaces, and some layered bracelets; my personal favorite is a rose quartz bracelet to keep the love coming my way all day.
