Weekend Wars

What I'm wearing:
Coat
Sweater
Pants
Boots

This is an outfit that I shot on my drive home from Colorado a few weeks back. The scenery was amazing and so breathtaking I had to stop and shoot a look. There was a cornfield in the backyard of someone's home, with that huge line of pink mountains behind it, and I knew that had to be my spot. Nothing beats a head to toe black and white look in the snow, and this one happens to be a personal favorite. The tweed coat was a Christmas present from my boyfriend this year :) and I'm so deeply in love with it. The lining is faux shearling and keeps me so so warm, as you can probably tell since I had to take it off for this shoot! Since this was a spur of the moment look, my outfit is pretty simple (and roadtrip friendly).
I started off with my trusty pair of black denim and added a cream sweater, sure to compliment the style of the coat and tie in a little lightness. I then paired the look with some new boots that I bought from Forever 21 (haven't bought shoes from there before) and I love them so much. They're simple, yet sharp and add a lot to simple black jeans. Finishing off the look with some Breakfast At Tiffany's sized sunglasses to shield my eyes from the hugely reflective snow. Just a clean look, that is really easy to wear for anything-day or night.
