I'm slacking on posting looks regularly and I can only promise that it will in fact improve in the near future. But you're going to have to give me just a little time, since I will be returning home to Denver, Colorado for the holidays. I will be posting many, many, MANY photos of my wonderful trip home, but the first few days are going to be a bit of a doozy. I have procrastinated for too many years, the removal of my wisdom teeth, therefore this trip will welcome me with a good tooth pulling. As much as I would love to share my chipmunk cheek self during that lovely time, it will have to wait a few days until I post another look. I ask you to bear with me, but I really do swear that good, wonderful, things are heading your way :)
This is definitely not for those family holiday parties, but what can I say, that American Apparel bodysuit is divine. It is currently the newest addition to my closet and it's a happy one at that. I paired it with an equally lacy black bra, simply because I love black lace. To add a bit of coverage I paired the bodysuit with a high waisted red eyelet dress-turned-skirt. To cover up my skirt/dress alterations and as a good way to define my waist I added this studded rocker belt. Since there's so much skin up top I didn't think it necessary to show lots of leg so I put on a black matte tight and some black suede pumps. Lastly, I finished out the look with a nice creme peacoat to give it a good wintery feel and a tassel necklace to tie in the coat. Overall, a really great holiday party look with friends or for going out.
